1. Data controller

2. User account and e-mail address

The Launcher allows users to create a Proxima account. The only personal data processed during registration is the user's e-mail address. The account enables features such as custom skins visible to other Launcher users. The legal basis for processing the e-mail address is the user's consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

3. Scope of other data

Apart from the e-mail address provided during voluntary registration, the Provider does not collect or process any other personal data of its users.

4. Anonymised analytics

The Launcher may collect fully anonymised, aggregated usage statistics (e.g. application launch count, Launcher version). This data cannot be linked to any individual user, does not constitute personal data within the meaning of GDPR, and is used solely to improve the quality of the service.

5. Third-party services

When downloading mods, the Launcher communicates directly with CurseForge and Modrinth APIs. These connections are initiated by the user and are governed by the respective privacy policies of those services. The Provider does not act as an intermediary and does not process any data from these connections.

6. Local data storage

All user-related data (game settings, instance configurations, authentication tokens) is stored exclusively on the user's local device. The Provider has no access to this data.

7. User rights
